For this project, we chose to analyze the genres as well as the hotness of Spotify songs. The data has been extracted from the Echo Nest database as well as from Spotify itself.
We chose this data because we were curious about the connections between the genres of Spotify songs as well as what makes a song hot. In addition, we believed that the dataset contained the right features for us to make a meaningful analysis.
The goal for the project has been to unveil the patterns behind the dataset and try to excite the end user with our findings.
